Acceptable Use Policy

Issued by Krepling Inc.

Effective Date: 20th June 2025

1. General Compliance Requirements

Krepling Pay merchants must comply with all applicable laws, card brand rules (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover), and banking regulations. Merchants are prohibited from:

  • Engaging in or facilitating illegal activity.

  • Offering or promoting deceptive or misleading products/services.

  • Submitting false, incomplete, or misleading information during onboarding or while transacting.

What This Means:

Merchants must operate legally and honestly. Krepling Pay cannot be used to process payments for illegal or misleading business activities.

2. Prohibited Business Categories (Fully Excluded – Exhibit C)

These business types are automatically disqualified and cannot be approved under any circumstances.

A. Illegal or Harmful Activities

  • Sale of illicit drugs or synthetic substances (e.g., K2, kratom, salvia).

  • Child pornography or sexually exploitative content.

  • Hate-related, violent, or abusive products or content.

  • Forged identification or government documentation.

What This Means:

Merchants cannot sell illegal drugs, promote hate, or distribute fake documents.

B. Adult and Obscene Content

  • Pornography, adult videos, images, and toys.

  • Escort services, dating services involving sexual interaction.

  • Mail-order brides or any sexual matchmaking platform.

What This Means:

Adult entertainment or adult product sellers are not allowed on Krepling Pay.

C. High-Risk Financial Services

  • Credit repair and credit monitoring services.

  • Payday loans, title loans, check cashing, currency exchange.

  • Money service businesses (MSBs), remittances.

What This Means:

Krepling Pay is not for financial services involving loans, cash advances, or currency transactions.

D. Deceptive Marketing Practices

  • Misleading free trials, negative option billing.

  • Pre-checked opt-ins or hidden fees.

  • Pyramid schemes and multi-level marketing (MLM).

What This Means:

All offers must be clearly explained. Deceptive or confusing pricing is not accepted.

E. Gambling and Speculative Businesses

  • Online gambling, sports betting, or odds services.

  • Cryptocurrency exchanges, trading platforms, mining.

  • High-yield investment programs and speculative stocks.

What This Means:

Krepling Pay does not support betting, trading, or financial speculation.

F. Non-Compliant Sales Channels

  • Aggregators, and payment facilitators.

  • Telemarketing (inbound or outbound).

  • Door-to-door or postcard-based lead generators.

What This Means:

Merchants must not act as middlemen or use high-risk sales tactics.

G. Internet Sales of Restricted Goods

  • Firearms, ammunition, and related accessories.

  • Tobacco, vapes, e-cigarettes sold online or via phone.

  • Non-FDA-approved pharmaceuticals or supplements.

What This Means:

Merchants cannot sell items that require special licenses or are banned from online sales.

3. High-Risk Business Types (Exhibit B)

Merchants in these categories are eligible only after enhanced due diligence:

  • Supplements and health/beauty products

  • Seminars, life coaching, or business consulting

  • Affiliate marketing services

  • Travel services, ticketing, timeshare resales

  • Jewelry, electronics, custom merchandise

Required Documentation:

  • Know Your Customer (KYC) verification (Exhibit A).

  • Domain inspection..

  • Personal guarantee from business owner(s).

  • Three months of payment processing statements.

  • Two years of financial statements (for high-volume merchants only).

  • Clear refund, cancellation, and pricing disclosures.

What This Means:

These industries carry more risk, so Krepling must verify legitimacy and financial stability before approval.

4. Business-to-Business (B2B) and Not-for-Profit Organizations

B2B Requirements:

  • No future delivery of goods or services.

  • Invoice billing must be clear and verifiable.

  • Cannot fall under excluded categories.

What This Means:

B2B companies must deliver products/services right away and follow clear billing practices.

Non-Profit / Political Organizations:

  • Must provide IRS 501(c)(3) status or state registration documents.

  • May require financials if delivery is over 30 days.

What This Means:

Charities and political groups must prove legal status and may need to show finances.

5. Card Network and Compliance Violations

Krepling Pay cannot be used by merchants who:

  • Have excessive chargebacks or refund activity.

  • Are listed on the MATCH (Member Alert to Control High-Risk Merchants) list.

  • Engage in activities that damage card network reputations.

What This Means:

If a merchant is blacklisted or receives too many complaints, they are disqualified.

6. Unsafe Technical Practices and Data Misuse

Merchants must not:

  • Use data pass or share customer data with third parties.

  • Provide access to file lockers or pirated content platforms.

What This Means:

Merchants must not misuse customer data or offer illegal downloads.

7. Policy Updates and Right to Review

Krepling Inc. may update this policy based on:

  • New regulations or legal changes.

  • Card network or sponsor bank requirements.

  • Krepling’s internal risk reviews.

What This Means:

This policy can change, and it is the merchant’s responsibility to stay updated.

8. Reporting Violations

To report a violation of this policy, contact: compliance@krepling.com

What This Means:

If someone is breaking the rules, report it. Krepling will investigate and take action if needed.
